Requirements

Applications must hold a Bachelors degree in any relevant descipline and satisfy the University English Requirements.

To be eligible for admission, a candidate shall:

  • Comply with the General Regulations
  • Comply with the Regulations for Taught Postgraduate Curricula
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree with honours of this University, or another qualification of equivalent standard from this University or from another university or comparable institution accepted for this purpose
  • Satisfy the University English language requirement applicable to high degrees as prescribed under General Regulation G2(b), which stipulated that "an applicant who is seeking admission on the basis of a qualification from a university or comparable institution outside Hong Kong of which the language of teaching and/or examination is not English is required to obtain:
    • a minimum overall band of 6 with no subtest lower than 5.5 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS); or
    • a score of 550 or above in the paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or a score of 213 in the computer-based TOEFL or a score of 80 in the internet-based TOEFL; or
    • Grade C or above in the Overseas General Certificate of Education (GCE); or
    • Grade C or above in the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE); or
    • Grade C or above in the Cambridge Test of Proficiency in English Language" ; and
  • Satisfy the examiners in a qualifying examination, if required.

Programme Fees

Full-time: 1 year (HK$303,000 for 1 year + Innovator Immersion Programme)

Part-time: 2 years (HK$227,250 for 2 years, i.e. HK$113,625 per year)

Scholarships will be available based on previous academic performance, relevance of job experience, as well as demonstrated potential to excel in biomedical innovation industry.
