The Hong Kong Inter‑University Postdoctoral Symposium in Biomedical Sciences 2026 was successfully held at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) on Wednesday, 13 May 2026.

This annual symposium provides an excellent platform for postdoctoral fellows to showcase their latest research. Building on the success of the first two editions at HKU and CUHK, which drew over 120 participants and around 20 oral presentations, this year’s event was a vibrant and engaging gathering for the biomedical community.

While the symposium focused on postdoctoral research, PIs, PGs, Postdocs, RAs, and Visiting Scholars all joined to share insights. The programme featured numerous oral and poster presentations by postdoctoral fellows, with awards presented in both categories to recognise outstanding research.
