Qingqing Zhang is a Research Assistant Professor at the School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Hong Kong. Qingqing Zhang received a Ph.D. from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Hong Kong. Dr. Zhang did her postdoc training for reproductive ageing and placental ageing at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, HKU.

Stem cells are invaluable resources for studying human development and hold significant promise for regenerative medicine. The availability of these new stem cells creates numerous exciting opportunities for fundamental research and biotechnology. Our focus is particularly on differentiating these stem cells into functional cells and dissecting the underlying molecular mechanisms. Additionally, our mission is to deepen the understanding of aging and rejuvenation and to translate fundamental biomedical discoveries into effective therapies for age-related diseases.
