We are delighted to share that Professor Zhongjun Zhou from the School of Biomedical Sciences has been awarded funding under the third round of the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) Research, Academic and Industry Sectors One-plus (RAISe+) Scheme. This accomplishment contributes to a significant university-wide achievement, with HKU securing funding for a total of seven projects—the highest number among all local institutions.

• Production of Human Pluripotent Stem Cell-derived Islet Organoid for Diabetes Treatment 
  Project Leader: Professor Zhongjun Zhou, Chui Fook-Chuen Professor in Molecular Medicine, School of Biomedical Sciences, LKS Faculty of Medicine
