HKU Biomedical Sciences Summer Academy aims to raise secondary school students and teachers’ awareness about biomedical sciences and how biomedical sciences and related research can benefit the human mankind. The program leverages on the unique strengths in pioneering research areas of the School of Biomedical Sciences at HKUMed. Participants will engage in a weeklong interactive program, where they will acquire more in-depth knowledge of the subject and have a taste of university life. Activities include hands-on laboratory sessions, laboratories tour, ‘Meet the Expert’ sessions and biomedical sciences-related topics / career development roundtable discussions.
