Genomic analysis and genetic testing is driving clinical decision making for cancer patients and individuals at high familial risk. The experience of the Precision Oncology program of the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center in Los Angeles, California provides guidance for ways to optimize clinical care using genomic information.
