Biography

Dr. Ben Kong is a Research Analyst at ORI Capital, a Hong Kong-based global venture capital firm focused on investing in breakthrough biotechnology companies that transform patient care. He earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and later completed postdoctoral training at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. After relocating to Hong Kong from the U.S. in 2023 and obtaining his MBA from the HKU Business School, Ben joined ORI Capital’s Science Team as a Research Analyst in August 2024. In this role, he oversees deal sourcing, company screening, due diligence, and maintaining the firm’s scientific rigor across diverse therapeutic modalities.
