Date: Monday, 19-November-2018
Time: 4:00 p.m.
Venue: Seminar Room 1, G/F, Laboratory Block,
Faculty of Medicine Building,

Summary:
The FGM strain isolated from chicken caecum was proved to be a kind of probiotics which could improve the extraction rate of Polysaccharide in Astragalus membranaceus. The fermented astragalus by FGM was shown to have the preventive and therapeutic effect of hepatic fibrosis in rat, function of promote production performance of broiler chicken, improve immune organ index, and enhance the immunity. In the further studies, we found the fermented astragalus polysaccharides could induce the maturation of dendritic cell CD11c +and CD103+ through TLR2 and TLR4 signaling pathway, FAPS could significantly increase the protein expression of phosphorylated JNK, P38 and NF-kBp65. To the conclusions, FAPS can activate NF-κB,JNK and p38 signaling pathways through TLR4 and TLR2 and then induce DC maturation.
