Summary: 
Obesity and diabetes is characterized by a disruption in glucose homeostasis in parallel to changes in the gut microbiome. I will be highlighting our research effort in understanding how changes in the gut microbiota composition is sufficient and necessary for anti-diabetic therapies to restore glucose homeostasis in diabetes and obesity.
