Admission to Biochemistry Major

The Major in Biochemistry is offered through the Bachelor of Science programme (JUPAS programme code 6901) in the Faculty of Science. Students can declare a major in Biochemistry after they are admitted to the 6901 BSc programme.

Minimum Admission Requirements for 6901 Bachelor of Science

JUPAS Applicants (for those who are applying on the strength of HKDSE results)

• Level 3 in Chinese Language
• Level 3 in English Language
• Level 2 in Mathematics
• Level 2 in Liberal Studies
• Level 3 in two subjects, with at least one elective subject in Biology,
  Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science or Integrated Science

Non-JUPAS Applicants

Other students who are not applying on the strength of HKDSE such as Associate Degree, Higher Diploma, GCE, IB, SAT, students under Early Admissions Scheme or students from mainland or overseas will be considered individually.
